OUR NEW EXTENSION to our processing plant in Lerwick is currently under construction and, when complete, will house state-of-the-art technology with four fully automated six kiln smokehouses for smoking both hot and cold salmon. 

 

An automatic salting line for curing and marinating will also be installed, along with three slicing and fully automated vacuum packing lines for producing modified atmosphere packaging (MAP).

 

 

This year, the company will be producing smoked and cured salmon as well as other finished and semi-finished products from the new facility.
