Our farms are located in the fast flowing seas of the North Atlantic, to the north of Scotland and the west of Norway, where conditions are perfect for rearing strong and healthy fish.

We have 30 sites around the Shetland coastline, which are exposed to the strong tidal currents of the North Sea and North Atlantic Ocean. This powerful water exchange provides a natural habitat for salmon to swim against the tide, as well as maintaining a clear seabed.

Nowhere in Shetland is more than three miles from the sea and this means that transportation from our farms to our processing unit (Lerwick Fish Traders) is instant, reducing travel miles and capturing the freshness.
